For this video, we were allowed to create any video that ranged between 3 to 5 minutes. (But as you will see my video is longer...) I decided for my long film to make a horror story that also draws attention to an issue. One issue that seems to be prevalent in today's society is lack of respect for art. Society also seems to not think that art is in everything. The reality is that art is very important and is important enough to be included in the acronym STEM. The new acronym STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

To help with the horror theme of my movie, I shot the entire first half in the dark inside a house using a red LED headlamp and the second half outside in the woods. The first part of my movie represents how horrible life would be if STEM was taken away and if we keep disrespecting art it will rise up against us. The second half represents how lost we would be without STEAM and why we need to include art in the acronym. The bear and mask represent art in my movie. I shot the entire film using a borrowed camera and my personal camera. This film was edited in Premiere Pro.
