The overall purpose of this project was to paint an object in color from a photograph all on an iPad. This is a digital painting created in Procreate with standard and custom brushes. There are about four layers in the painting only. Two are backgrounds, one is a sketch, and the last is the actual painting. The specific objective of this painting was to create a realistic still life digital painting of an object using shadows and highlights. Due to my previous art experience, I chose a complicated object. I found the highlights and complicated texture to be difficult although I accomplished them somewhat to my satisfaction. I used many colors that one would not expect to find in a red dinosaur  such as purple. Overall, this painting was a unique method of creating art.
